Petrol or diesel?

The right engine depends on the sort of journeys you make.

A petrol Citroën can be a straightforward choice for mixed driving, particularly if your annual mileage is relatively modest and many of your journeys are shorter.

With any used diesel, it is sensible to consider your normal journey lengths before buying rather than choosing based purely on fuel economy figures.

Manual or automatic?

The 2018 Grand C4 Picasso uses an EAT6 automatic transmission, while the 2015 example has a manual gearbox. 

An automatic can be particularly useful if much of your driving involves traffic around town, while a manual may appeal if you prefer more direct control and a simpler driving experience.
